What’s different about the exegetical guides in the Be United in Christ Outreach Ministry’s Premium Collection of books?

Our Premium Collection includes three in-depth exegetical guides addressing three crucial unity passages: Psalm 133, John 17:20–26, and 1 Corinthians 12. Psalm 133 is the only chapter in Scripture entirely devoted to unity. John 17:20–26 is Jesus’ final prayer for His disciples before His death—and He prayed for their unity. 1 Corinthians 12 is Paul’s fullest presentation of what it means for Christians to live in cooperation and interdependence with one another as the body of Christ.

These three Bible texts are so critical for Christian unity that in addition to providing in-depth Bible study and teaching tools, we also went back through years of church history to glean the most important insights from the past. We’ve included perspectives from great theologians of church history like Matthew Henry (1662–1714), Alexander Maclaren (1826–1910), Charles Spurgeon (1834–1892), Archibald Brown (1844–1922), Henry Van Dyke (1852–1933), and Neil MacMichael (1808–1872). Then, we added additional commentary to make these texts and messages even more applicable today.

These three book-length treatments are exegetically thorough yet reader-friendly, theologically rich and devotional, and both personally practical and ministerially useful. Elegantly and engagingly presented, they will make transforming reading for your walk with God, effective tools for your teaching ministry, and beautiful additions to your personal library.
