Since human pride around names, authors, and theological camps is such a common source of division in the body of Christ, it seemed wise for us to provide resources without reference to individual authors from our ministry. Where we’ve modernized a classic Christian voice (Spurgeon, Edwards, and Burroughs, etc.,), we’ve identified them. Beyond that, there are no author names listed. We believe that the strength of the resources, full of Bible passages, will be the best validation of their value.
The primary authors of the Be United in Christ Outreach Ministry resources are pastors, seminary professors, Bible teachers, and missionaries whom God has called and gifted to study and teach His Word with humility and fidelity.
To give you a sense of our staff’s range of expertise, the Be United in Christ Outreach Ministry team includes three doctorate degrees (with two more in process), fifteen master’s degrees in theology and education, and twenty-six bachelor’s degrees across a range of fields of study.
Beyond educational experience, the team includes six previously published authors and over 200 years of Bible study and pastoral leadership. For 7 years, we’ve literally spent tens of thousands of hours engaged directly in the study and development of materials related to Christian unity in accordance with God’s Word.
