A Letter From Pastor Jeremy Ellis

At the age of forty-two, all I have known is the church and ministry. My family grew up in church, and I have been a pastor for the past two decades. The one thing that has been alarmingly consistent and ubiquitous is that the Church operates more in disunity than unity. This has become the elephant in the room that we never address; instead, we have moved it into the corner and allowed it to become a permanent fixture. This is why ministries like Be United in Christ are so necessary. Their support and resources become the impetus behind combatting the debilitating infection of disunity that has infiltrated the church. Be United in Christ has spent an exorbitant number of hours putting together articles, resources, and books to help realign believers and churches to begin focusing on the unity that Jesus boldly declared throughout the Gospels. In my limited years of ministry and within my limited pool of influence, I have noticed that most of the disunity is indicative of majoring in the minors, causing us to divide over trivial, open-handed issues. Be United in Christ has material that will call us back to our first Love, focus on the close-handed tenants of our faith, and reignite unity.

Restored Church and I are proud to endorse this ministry and be committed to spreading the message they have been heralding for the past several years. If you are not familiar with Be United in Christ, with urgency, I implore that you take a deep dive into the resources they have to offer. I can guarantee it will change how you see the Church.
